Subnautica: 10 Essential Tips to Survive and Thrive in the Deep

1. Scan Everything

Your PDA is your best friend. Scan all flora, fauna, and wreckage to unlock blueprints for tools, equipment, and base modules. Prioritize scanning fragments for the Seamoth, Prawn Suit, and Cyclops early on.

2. Build a Seabase Early

Don't rely solely on the Lifepod. Build a small base with a fabricator, storage, and a power source (solar panels work great in the Safe Shallows). This gives you a safe spawn point and room for upgrades.
